Murder on the Orient Express is a classic mystery novel by Agatha Christie, adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig, featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot123. The novel is set in 1934, when Poirot is travelling on the Orient Express from Istanbul to London. He is asked to solve the case of a man who is stabbed to death in his cabin, while the train is stuck in a snowdrift. There are thirteen other passengers on the train, and any of them could be the killer.
